THE HISTORY OF ANCIENT ISRAEL: Completely Synchronizing the Extra-Biblical Apocrypha Books of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees had its humble beginnings as a group Bible study. We were interested in reading through the old manuscripts of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees and we wanted to see how those extra Biblical texts fit into the narrative of the Scriptures.
From there the work was published as the book series entitled In The Beginning… Synchronizing Genesis, Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees. This set of five books synchronized the texts of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees into the book of Genesis.
There was so much good feedback from those who had purchased the books at conferences and through local bookstores!

But there was so much still left to these ancient texts after the book of Genesis was finished. So the series was extended from Genesis through Joshua and became titled Ancient Texts and the Bible: Synchronizing the Bible, Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees.
It was at this point that the books were published as either Easy Reader or Expanded Editions. The Expanded Edition distinguished between the various manuscripts thus giving the readers flexibility, if desired, to be able to distinguish which passages came from what particular manuscripts.
The time finally came to update and reprint. Thus, The History of Ancient Israel: Completely Synchronizing the Extra-Biblical Apocrypha Books of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees had emerged!
This latest update does not have an Expanded Edition as most of the feedback received was from folks who preferred to just read the story. However, the Expanded Editions remain available for this reason.
